Pharmacy management software

Pharmacy management software that catches problems before the patient does.

Dispensing by name and MR, an allergy hard-stop at the point of prescribing, and reorder alerts before stock runs out. It works offline, so the counter never stops.

From prescription to dispense, safely

A pharmacy is where a prescribing error becomes a patient-safety event — or gets caught. Good pharmacy management software makes catching it the default: the prescription flows in, interactions and allergies are checked, and only then does it dispense, with the record updated automatically. Medveon covers the whole counter:

Dispensing & e-Rx link

Outpatient e-prescriptions arrive with a verification code; look the code up, dispense against the lines, and each prescription dispenses once.

Allergy hard-stop

When a prescribed drug matches a documented allergy, prescribing stops until a reason is recorded.

Stock & reorder

Stock per item, dispensing that decrements stock, and reorder alerts at your threshold.

Billing & audit

Invoices and receipts through the billing module, and a record of who dispensed what.

Stock you can actually trust

Out-of-stock medicines are the quiet failure of every pharmacy. Medveon keeps a stock count per item, decrements it as you dispense, and raises a reorder alert at your threshold — so the shortage list stops being a surprise.

Standalone, or part of the whole hospital

Run the pharmacy on its own, or connect it to the wards, OPD and billing of the full hospital management system so a dispensed medicine lands on the patient's chart and the invoice at once — no re-keying between systems.

Frequently asked questions

What does pharmacy management software do?

Runs a pharmacy counter end to end — dispensing against verified e-prescriptions, an allergy hard-stop at prescribing, stock with reorder alerts, and a record of who dispensed what.

Does it check drug interactions?

Not yet. It hard-stops on documented allergies. Drug–drug interaction checking needs a licensed, maintained interaction database, and we won't ship one built from memory.

Does it track expiry and stock?

Stock per item with reorder alerts at your threshold — yes. Batch and expiry tracking are on the roadmap, not in the product today.

Does it work offline?

Yes — an offline-first PWA, so dispensing and sales continue through power cuts and sync when the link returns.
